Hot off an appearance on CBC’s Marketplace, Nancy Irvine knows a thing or two about the moving business and the rise in moving scams. Starting out as a move coordinator for Guardian Transfer and North American Van Lines almost twenty years ago, Nancy understands how confusing and stressful moving can be and spends much of her day providing helpful advice to consumers. For the past four years Nancy has been President of the Canadian Association of Movers, Canadas only trade association representing moving and storage companies.

Bill VanGorder is Chief Policy Officer and Chief Operating Officer for C.A.R.P - A New Vision of Aging for Canada and was the Founding Chair of (2007) of the CARP Nova Scotia Chapter. He is the immediate Past Chair of the Nova Scotia Advisory Committee on Seniors’ Issues to the Provincial Government (The Group of Nine) on which he has served for the past 12 years; Past Chair of the Serving Seniors Alliance Cooperative and longtime Board Member of the Theatre Arts Guild.
