Alana Green’s talent for organizing benefits clients in her current work with Organize Anything as a Virtual Assistant (VA). Alana has previously worked with Organize Anything as a Residential and Corporate Organizer.
Alana’s ability to problem solve and get clients organized is evident whether she is assisting a client prepare a home for sale, organizing the logistics of the move, or keeping a busy client on the move. She has facilitated workshops on a variety of organizing topics for home, school and office.
Alana is also experienced in entrepreneurship, marketing, and business practices. She won several awards for her business, Green Choi Kwang Do, including being named the Nova Scotia ACE CIBC Student Entrepreneur of the Year for 2006, as well as, one of the Chronicle Herald’s “7 to Watch in 2007”.
Alana was selected as a finalist to appear on CBC Television’s Dragon’s Den Season III. She has given expert advice in print media and on local and national television news programs.
Alana has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Small Business & Entrepreneurship from Saint Mary’s University. While at Saint Mary’s, Alana was awarded the Kendon Matheson Award 2006 for quiet contributions to university life. Alana worked for 4 years with the national award winning alcohol awareness group the Saint Mary's University D.R.A.F.T. Team.
Alana’s vast knowledge and passion for instructing has greatly benefited her in her role teaching English as a second language. Her organizational skills and creativity help create engaging and effective English programs for learners ages 5-70.
